5. How did you attract/address your audience?

We have addressed our audience by giving very little information and detail in the opening as possible so it grasps their attention and draws them to continue watching the whole thriller. In the opening, we didn’t include any dialogue to give the audience very little insight into the film. The feel of crime, mystery and suspense in the opening attracts wide group of people especially from the age of 17-25 because a young audience enjoys the build of tension as they are always curious to know what will happen next. The use of different shots, especially close up shots allow the audience to see deep into the characters reactions at certain points in the opening such as when the protagonist is being suffocated and dragged away in the alley way it draws the attention of the audience and keeps them enticed in the thriller.
